医学博士、教授、博士生导师，医学院副院长。江苏省非编码RNA基础与临床转化重点实验室副主任、医学院妇产与生殖医学研究所所长。全国高等医学教育学会临床医学教育研究会理事、全国高等教育医学数字化规划教材（国家医学电子书包）教学管理委员会副主任委员、江苏省高等学校医药教育研究会第五届理事会理事、江苏省解剖学会第十二届理事会常务理事、学术交流工作委员会委员、组织胚胎学专业委员会委员。扬州大学“青蓝工程”优秀教学团队带头人、扬州大学“新世纪”人才工程中青年学术带头人、优秀中青年骨干教师，2008年德国哥廷根大学访问学者。长期从事教学、科研及管理工作。
