On November 3, the course Physiology taught by Professor Zhang Shengzhe from the Department of Basic Medicine and Medical Technology of  our college won the third prize in the Teaching Competition for International students in Jiangsu Universities in 2024. The competition, guided by the provincial Department of Education and sponsored by the Provincial Institute of Higher Education's Foreign Students Education Management Research Committee, was listed as a provincial competition for college teachers' teaching, and 137 courses from 63 colleges and universities in the province entered the semifinals. Combining the characteristics and diverse backgrounds of international students in China, Prof. Zhang carefully designed the teaching plan and optimized the teaching process according to the curriculum objectives. The teaching process reflected excellent basic teaching skills and fluent and pure English expression. In recent years,  our college has won many excellent achievements in the teaching observation competition of  international students in Jiangsu universities. Young teachers promote teaching, learning and innovation through competition, creating a good atmosphere for the education and teaching of international students in the college. Medical College will further strengthen the construction of English-taught courses and international courses, and strive to contribute to the high-quality development of the college with better education and teaching for international students in China.
