On the morning of April 22nd, the National Judicial Administration's Drug Rehabilitation System's Emergency Rescue, High-Risk, and Medical Care Management Training Course commenced in Yangzhou. Comrade Xu Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice President of the China Judicial Administration Drug Rehabilitation Association, Comrade Zhang Xiang, former Vice President of the China Judicial Administration Drug Rehabilitation Association, and Comrade Li Wei, Vice Dean of the Medical College of Yangzhou University, along with other dignitaries, attended the opening ceremony. The event was chaired by Comrade Zhang Xiang, leader of the China Judicial Administration Drug Rehabilitation Association's training base for this training course. A total of 108 drug rehabilitation police officers from 25 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China participated in the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Vice President Xu Hui of the China Judicial Administration Drug Rehabilitation Association briefly introduced the background and significance of this training course, fully acknowledging the proactive collaboration of Yangzhou University Medical College with the China Judicial Administration Drug Rehabilitation Association. This collaboration has contributed significantly to optimizing the knowledge structure of the drug rehabilitation police force and enhancing their operational capabilities. She urged the students to diligently study, enhance communication, focus on summarization, and ensure meaningful learning throughout the training.

Vice Dean Li Wei of Yangzhou University Medical College extended a warm welcome to students from across the country. He provided an overview of Yangzhou University, the Medical College's development, current academic status, and highlighted the long-term cooperation between the Medical College and the judicial system in education. Comrade Zhang Xiang, former Vice President of the China Judicial Administration Drug Rehabilitation Association, introduced the members of the temporary party branch and the class committee for the training course to the students.

Our college is the only national drug rehabilitation medical training base authorized by the China Judicial Administration Drug Rehabilitation Association. The training and training programs are approved by the association's leadership and the Ministry of Justice. The training curriculum includes topics such as the current situation and prevention strategies of AIDS, comprehensive treatment of drug dependence, emergency handling and treatment of common critical conditions in internal and surgical departments, first aid skills and equipment application, rapid identification of mental disorders and psychiatric emergency management, medical safety risk prevention and control, management of high-risk, disabled, and critically ill individuals in drug rehabilitation facilities, infectious disease prevention and control, and emergency response to sudden events. Expert lecturers include not only our faculty and affiliated hospital teachers but also renowned professors and experts from within and outside the province as well as the drug rehabilitation system. To enhance skills training, students will also undergo practical training in emergency rescue and other skills at the school's skills training center.
