On the afternoon of March 25th, the Department of Basic Medicine and Medical Technology held the Undergraduate Mentor Appointment Ceremony and Mentor-Student Meeting in Room 401 of Building 5. The meeting was chaired by the Secretary of the Department Party Committee, Li Guocai, with the attendance of Dean Qian Li, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee, Zuo Hongmei, Vice Dean Li Wei, undergraduate mentors, student representatives, and all undergraduate students of the 2023 medical examination major.
During the appointment ceremony, Dean Qian Li, Secretary Zuo Hongmei, and Dean Li Wei each presented appointment letters to the mentors. Secretary Zuo Hongmei delivered a speech, emphasizing that mentors should be passionate about their work, make detailed and effective efforts, and students should respect their mentors and seek their guidance. Specific requirements were also outlined for implementing the undergraduate mentor system to ensure its effectiveness. Secretary Li Guocai expressed gratitude to the mentors on behalf of the department and presented requirements and expectations. Mentor representative Cheng Hong explained the training program for medical examination majors. Outstanding graduate representative Shen Qinhao shared insights on efficiently learning from mentors during his time at the university.
During the mentor appointment process, faculty members across the department actively participated. Through mutual selection between mentors and students, a total of 38 teachers were appointed as mentors.
