On the evening of March 20th, our institution invited Director Li Zhangping from the Academic Affairs Office of Wenzhou Medical University as a guest speaker for the 23rd Teaching Thought Exchange Meeting. The meeting was conducted online and chaired by Director Wang Dongling from the Clinical Skills Training Center of our college, with teaching staff from the college and clinical teaching hospitals participating.

Director Li Zhangping, drawing upon his years of experience in clinical skills competitions and teaching, provided an overview of university-level clinical skills competitions, including background information, competition topics, and schedules. He then discussed key teaching points for university-level clinical skills based on relevant competition results, particularly focusing on topics related to internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and pediatrics.

Finally, Director Li shared three reflections on clinical skills teaching: firstly, the importance of hierarchical and progressive teaching methods; secondly, the emphasis on key concepts and content; and thirdly, methods for teachers to enhance their teaching abilities in clinical skills.
