On the afternoon of March 21st, our institution held a collective lesson preparation activity for the Spring Semester of 2024 for the course "Diagnostics." The activity was chaired by the Dean of the Teaching Department, Li Wei. All the teaching staff from the Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis Teaching and Research Office of our institution, as well as Director Wang Dongling from the Clinical Skills Center, along with the Director and relevant teaching staff from the Diagnostic Teaching and Research Office of Yangzhou University Affiliated Hospital and its affiliated North Jiangsu People's Hospital, participated in the event.
During the activity, there was enthusiastic discussion. Firstly, the current issues faced by the "Diagnostics" course in terms of teaching homogenization were analyzed. According to the course syllabus, the theoretical and experimental teaching contents were systematically sorted out and unified. Unified regulations and requirements were proposed for teaching quality and classroom order.
Additionally, further discussions were conducted on the problems reflected in the clinical proficiency tests of our students. Based on the requirements of the clinical proficiency test syllabus, in-depth exchanges and discussions were held regarding the addition of the "Clinical History Collection Skills Training" course for the Spring Semester of the fourth year.
