In the 2023 Jiangsu University Foreign Student Teaching Observation Competition organized by the Foreign Student Education Management Research Committee of the Jiangsu Higher Education Association, Associate Professor Lv Mengying of the Pharmacy Department of our college won the first prize. A total of 76 courses from 43 universities across the province were selected for this on-site competition. In this competition, three parts of course video, course outline and teaching design (lesson plan) were submitted, and a 3-minute lecture + 12-minute teaching demonstration was conducted. Based on the characteristics and backgrounds of international students studying in China, Teacher Lv carefully designed teaching plans and optimized the teaching process according to the course objectives, demonstrating solid teaching skills and fluent and pure English expression. The college will further strengthen the construction of English-taught courses and international courses, and continue to improve teachers' ability to teach in English and the quality of international talent training.
