In order to strengthen the safety awareness of teachers and students, ensure the safety management and safe operation of the laboratory, a laboratory safety training meeting was held on the evening of August 25th in the 401 lecture hall of Building 5 of our hospital. The meeting was chaired by Xu Jinxin, the director of the hospital office, and Li Jiang, the head of the Safety Department of the Laboratory and Equipment Management Department of Yangzhou University, was invited to give a lecture. All newly recruited teachers and students from the laboratory during the summer vacation participated in the training.

Section Chief Li emphasized the importance of mastering laboratory safety standards through several typical safety accident videos and pictures, starting with an introduction to the overall safety situation of university laboratories and the safety situation of our school's laboratories. He analyzed in detail the links and causes of accidents in university laboratories, as well as the safety hazards present in each link. At the same time, combined with the situation of our laboratory, he explained in detail the specific requirements during the experimental process and how to deal with possible emergencies for the teachers and students present.

This training has strengthened the safety and responsibility awareness of new teachers and students in our laboratory. At the same time, the vivid warning cases in the training have also played an important reference role in the safety management and operation of our laboratory.
