The "Medicine+X" international academic forum was grandly held on December 27-28, sponsored by the Science and Technology Department of Yangzhou University, the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, the Discipline Construction Office, the School of Medicine, the translational medicine, the non-coding RNA Key Laboratory for Basic and Clinical Transformation in Jiangsu Province, the Key Laboratory of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for the Prevention and Treatment of Geriatric Diseases in Jiangsu Province, and the Key Research Room of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine for "Treatment of Gastric Cancer by Virulence and Evil". More than 200 teachers and graduate students from the medical school attended this meeting. Eighteen experts from 16 universities and research institutes at home and abroad made wonderful special reports based on their own research directions and achievements, including basic and clinical research on cell development and biology, pathogen infection immunity and prevalence, tumor immunity and treatment, metabolic immunity, pathogenesis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, pharmacology and research and development of traditional Chinese medicine, animal models of human diseases, biomedical engineering and other aspects.
