Professor Chang Shi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xiangya Medical College, Central South University, was invited to attend the 14th Teaching Reflection Meeting on April 1st. This event was hosted by Director Liang Jingyan of Medical Department. More than 200 people, including Vice President Gong Weijuan, all faculty members of Medical College, clinical teachers of the Affiliated Hospital and Subei People's Hospital, student representatives, participated in this event.

At the event, Professor Chang Shi gave a lecture entitled "Discussion on Clinical Medical Professional Certification". Based on the certification experience of Xiangya Medical College, Professor Chang talked about the knowledge related to clinical professional certification from four aspects: the basic process of professional certification, the interpretation of the new version of professional certification standards, the key points of professional certification preparation, experience and thinking.

Professors Zhang Yanqing and Yan Bingchun exchanged ideas with Professor Chang on course integration, mixed course construction, and teaching models.

Our clinical medicine major was certified by the Ministry of Education in October 2017, with a limited period of 6 years. According to the certification process, medical college is required to submit a comprehensive certification report before June 30, 2023. At present, the college has actively arranged and promoted the writing of a comprehensive report on clinical medicine professional certification. This work is a review and summary of medical college in the past 6 years, and is also a preparation for the launch of a new round of professional certification. It is also an important opportunity for the college to clarify the direction of medical education reform and improve the quality of talent cultivation by comparing medical education standards.
