Recently, the University held an international academic conference on cell senescence and cell fate regulation. The conference was hosted by Yangzhou University and co hosted by Nantong Ruici Hospital Affiliated to Yangzhou University, Yangzhou University School of medicine, and the Provincial Key Laboratory of nucleic acid and cell fate regulation (Yangzhou University). Jiao Xin'an, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, and Yu Lizhong, Deputy Mayor of Nantong City, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Gongweijuan, vice president, and xuxiaohua, President of Nantong Ruici hospital attended the event.

Jiaoxin'an said that the University attaches great importance to the development of medical science, gives full play to the advantages of a complete range of disciplines and specialties, vigorously promotes the integration of medical teaching and research and the integration of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral education, and strives to create a development pattern of large-scale medical science. This academic conference focused on the frontier and hot issues in the field of cell fate regulation, and scholars from the United States, Germany, France, South Korea and other countries shared and exchanged ideas with many domestic scholars around the theme.
